Alexis Amato i'm going to be a senior this upcoming fall and entering my last year, i have learned a lot. I learned just how precious time and memories are. Eariler this year my mom was pretty sick and it put everything into perspective for me. Cherish every moment, as they will be gone in an instant if not captured to be remembered. Photography is one of the best ways to do that, and in essence senior pictures are more than just photos to show off to friends and family, they are ways to capture such a special time in life so you and your loved ones can always look back on it through beautiful photos.
Carly Egberts Entering your Senior Year at your high school is important to any senior. When you are a senior you are starting to take the next step and looking at colleges, but one will never forget their Alma Mater. Easton Area High School is my Alma Mater, and I feel as though I encompass a different kind of love for this school.
I am different from any kind of upcoming senior at Easton Are High School. I live in Riegelsville and as of right now, the class of 2013 is the last Riegelsville class that will graduate from Easton. Why someone may ask? There are people in Riegelsville that feel as though Easton is not a great school for us, and they feel as though Palisades is. They feel the drive to Easton is too treacherous, the education is not up to standards, and that because Riegelsville is in Bucks County, students should go to a school in Bucks County, not Northampton County. These people felt as though they could walk in and change what has been in place since the 1930's.
Some may be thinking what this has to do with why I deserve this Senior Portrait Giveaway, but there’s a reason. Being the last senior class to graduate from Riegelsville absolutely makes me sick, but by having these photos, it can help me remember my wonderful senior year. I have seen your photos and heard of your professionalism through Jenna Koose and Drea Behm, and I must say that the photos are gorgeous. Having these photos would help me remember my senior year, and show that one would love to be a senior at Easton Area High School. But growing up with my education at Easton being threatened has taught me a lot as well. First, I do not take anything for granted. I value my education at Easton and I feel as though I could not get a better education anywhere else. Second, being part of such a huge community is important and has taught me that I can make a difference. Riegelsville consists of around 800 people and being part of Easton makes me feel that I am a part of something much bigger. Third, I am a part of the band at Easton which has over 200+ people, while Palisades’ band consists of about 20 people. The band at Easton has showed me the value of tradition and how great it is to be an Easton Red Rover. Senior year is important because EVERY senior gets to take part in the Thanksgiving festivities, prom, and most importantly, graduation. It upsets me that not all Riegelsville students can take part of it. The Riegelsville/ Palisades issue has put life into perspective and being a part of Easton, has taught me to never take anything for granted, the great value of tradition, and how being a part of something can help me make a difference to the community. I am proud to be an Easton Red Rover, and remember…

Stavros Kariofillis Every girl wants her chance to be able to feel like a princess. No guy really wants to show it, but behind every guy is a part of him that wants to feel like Prince Charming, and how better to show it than through your senior pictures. I love Easton and I can truly say that I've (literally) left my blood, sweat, and tears in that school. I feel so blessed for the experience I have and I don't dread every single day--every day is a new surprise that I try to make the most of. I hit a low point freshman year when it finally hit me how far I had come and how growing up seemed inevitable. It was really hard on me, and as a solution I simply repressed and blocked the thought from my memory. Now it's inevitable, and I finally feel like it's my time to grow and make a difference. I want my chance to be Prince Charming, even for a few hours, and I can only hope you'll help me in my pursuit.
Amanda Bellafatto Highschool is a very unique time in a person’s life. You learn many social and intellectual things by walking the halls of the high school. However I can tell what the most important is. To me it is that I learned to be an independent and confident person. I learned that the childhood rhymes of sticks and stones are true and that no one can make you feel anything even insignificant. Highschool took a scrawny kid with a lack of confidence and a big backpack and created an independent woman ready to tackle college and do something outstanding. I want to win because I don’t have photographs showing the confidence and independence I have and I honestly don’t know what they look like. But someday I want to look back at my middle school photos and my high school photos and see the end result: independence, self-confidence and beauty.
